We are living in such a world, where almost everything is just one click away from us. Here I am talking about the technology. Nowadays, everything is available with the help of internet. Where to go, what to do, how to dress just to count as a few. Moreover, getting information about people is very easy, because in today's world almost everyone are on social media. There will be very few people, who still don't use any kind of social sites. So, these are the things which technology provides us, but at the same time internet has been used in a negative way as well . To give an example " Trolling" is one of them. Trolling is giving comment to someone on social media in an abusive way. Giving your comments on something is different. I totally agree that every body has freedom of speech, but that doesn't mean that we will start abusing someone. Here, we have to understand that yes we can gives comments about certain things which we don't like or disagree but in a proper way. We cannot start insulting someone, raise questions about someone personality or the work they are doing. Because we really don't know what hardships people have been through. It has been a trend in most of the societies that we judge people with the help of their posts on face book or their pictures on Instagram. We will comment on those, without having a second thought that it's not only us who are reading those posts, but out there there are millions and millions of people who also read those, including our own parents and parents of those people about which we give comments. How their parents will react?
The point which I am trying to say is that if we don't like any thing, we can always give constructive feedback for sure, but we have to avoid using abusive language, after all those people whom we are targeting also have emotions and we need to understand that it can be a mental trauma for them well.
P. S: The purpose of writing this post is not like I have been trolled, it's just to realise the fact that being an youth sometimes we don't understand the consequences of giving such comments
